Well, I am not really sure how to start this blog. I have restarted it several times, just well, i don't know I am weird like that.
Wes and I still have the cats. That was such a huge episode at the humane society, we are just keeping them for right now.
Some of you might be wondering, why would you want to get rid of these wonderful cats. the reason being...
WE ARE EXPECTING A BABY!!!!! This will be our first baby. WE are very excited and can't wait. It has been a long process ,for us, to get to this point, but we are so thankful to God that he has blessed us with life inside of me.
We have learned a lot sense we started trying. God has grown us as a couple and brought us closer together, and grown us individually. I think God taught me to "trust" him. sometimes I think we over use that word. "Trust God" Well, I have had to do that for the last 7 months. Knowing he had a plan and a time for us. I know that 7 months does not seem like a long time, but if you know my family you know that is a long time to get pregnant for the first. God taught me a lot about just resting in him and be satisfied with Him and content with what God has given me and with Him alone. It has been a good 7 months and there were some really bad times, poor Wes got the brunt of it. He stuck by it with me and we walked through this time together. but I would not trade them. Resting in my father's arms and being 100% content and satisfied in Him and Him alone. It is a feeling and contentment I have never known.
We are so very excited and can't wait until August 27th to add a baby to our family and home.
Please pray for us as we prepare for this insane adventure. Have any suggestions about pregnancy, fire away. :0)

Congratulations...
I am so glad you have told everyone...because now I don't have to be so worried I will let it slip!
As for the advice...just wait, you are going to be getting it from everywhere...people at the grocery store, restaurants, sitting in Dr. offices, blogs...it is out there whether you want it or not.
The important thing to remember is take what you want and don't worry about the rest...unless it comes from me...then you better listen...J/K :)

Congratulations!! I've been waiting for it to pop up on this blog so I could be excited and tell everyone! We're so excited for you and can't wait to find out if it's a boy or girl... or both : )-
I'm with Tina on the advice... everyone and their brother will try and tell you what to do while you're pregnant. Just remember this is your baby and you're learning new things just like everyone else that has come before you. It's okay to make a mistake, in fact, it's probably a good thing sometimes! Just trust your gut and you'll be fine!!
