Wes and I are in sunny Florida right now for his work. I know I must suffer with him. :0)
Just kidding. We got here yesterday and the weather has been so wonderful. I am trying to figure out why we live in freezing cold Michigan and not someplace warmer. It is so much nicer. But if any of you know me, you know that I love the heat and wearing flip flops and just the sun beating on you in the middle of the day and you sitting and soaking it in.
That is what I did yesterday afternoon. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!! Just sat by the pool and let the sun HIT me and make me warm and let the Vitamin D soak into my skin.
Yes I am being careful and bought sunscreen and plan on using it today. :)
Last night was the kick off dinner and there was lots of really good food, it was all a beach theme I guess is what you call it. Big old tall beach chairs sitting everywhere with surf boards and fun sand buckets full of stuff. Very cool decor and fun setting.
So to get to my reason for posting, There is something I have always wanted in life and have never been allowed to get one. My parents were against it and I did not have time to get one in between High school and bible school. then when I met Wes he said, "no, NEVER."
But last night at the dinner they had these little table and activities you could do and one of them was a tattoo artist. Yep, You guessed it. I got a tattoo!! It is so awesome. Little sore today, but totally worth it. I could not believe that Wes would finally let me get one!!! Maybe it helped that everyone we were with, was telling me to let me get one. So here is a picture of my tattoo. I am so happy with it and it is so very cute.
Now, don't worry, I asked about being pregnant and they said that it was not a problem!! So I am safe and baby is safe. Hope you like my tattoo.

Cute Jodi! Smart woman for getting it on your back. Anywhere near the front and your turtle would become a tortus :)
I wish I were sitting in the sun with you! Where in Florida are you? How about bottling up some of that sunshine and coming this way next? :)
