No I am not talking about the Broadway show. I am talking about my 2 cats.
Wes and I have enjoyed the time with our cats. they are both very unique cats and think they are human(not sure what cat doesn't) :)
We have been spending less and less time at home and been able to give them less and less attention, which results in them acting out.
So We have been looking for someone to open their hearts and take our 2 cats in, but no one wants cats. (What is people's problem. These are GREAT cats. Really, ask my nephews and family.)
Since we have not found anyone in the last 3 months to take our cats into their homes, we have decided to contact the local humane society. I have an appt today to take the cats in to see if they check out to be cats that can be adopted. I guess they have to go through some behavioral test. Which these cats are GREAT, they will pass this test, or at least they BETTER pass this test. :)
Crazy thing is, when I set this appt up and talked to the lady, she wanted to know the colors of the cats and I told her I had a white male cat and she was so happy to hear that. She said almost for sure, you will not go home with him. But the other cat, who has behavioral problems at our house, might have to wait a couple days or weeks.
So today, I might come home with one less cat and possibly cat-less.
It is a happy and sad day in the Chadek household. WE have let these little creatures into our lives for a little over 2 years and we do like them and love them. (I think we love them) and it will be weird to not have them around, demanding attention and getting under our feet, but them we will also miss, something to welcome us home on a bad day and something that we can talk to when the other is not around.
Do I sound like a crazy cat lover!! HAHAHAHA. Maybe I do, but you would have to meet these cats to understand, These are not normal cats. No one in my family likes cats, but my family all likes Allie and Alex. They are good people cats and one likes adults and the other one likes kids and lets them drag them around. Very great cats.
So that is my story today, I will keep you updated on what happens with Allie and Alex.
I am just crossing my fingers that they will pass the behavioral test(seriously what is that).
will let you know
I know you wanted to know all about my cats and the fact that their time with me might be ending. Oh well!! :0)

Behavoiral test for cats?
So, what happened? Do you have cats? Did they pass the test? If not, what is wrong with them?? :)
ahh, sad to hear that they won't be there the next time we come to visit.
But totally understand how frustrating they can be.
How am I going to explain this to Arika? Hahaha! she still asks about them every once in a while.
Love ya
are you going to take Wes with you? Maybe they could do a behavorial test on you two and maybe only one of you will be coming home???? love ya
Well, I know the rest of the story, cause your dad told me after IM with you .... but I'm just now reading ... GO Figure.... Psychology for "all" we're an equal opportunity nation :-)
DAH!!!! a cat is a CAT!!!
I can't wait to actually read your followup to this. Maybe the humane society needs a psychologist :')
