Demolition Derby

Tuesday night, was the annual Demolition Derby at one of the local fairs. HOW MUCH FUN IT WAS!!!!

We took some friends, with us, and their 2 boys, who loved it and thought it was the greatest thing. They plan on going every year.

Wes and I have been going for 7 years now. Won't miss it. I was not looking forward to the fact that Landon could come early and I would miss this great event, but our son waited and I was able to enjoy the derby.


It was a great derby, not to hot, not to cold, good elephant ear to eat and the heats were very good. Had a compact car heat, with only 4 cars in it and that was one of the best heats. They were flying all over the track and hit each other, sliding, it was great.

The final heat, which is all the top 3 winners for the 3 previous heats was great. It came down to the last 2 cars(TOTAL DESTRUCTION) and it was husband and wife. They went at it for a little while and then both of their cars died at the same time. They could not get them to start. It was a great finish to a good heat.

It was a great time, I am so glad I was able to go. Fun was had by all that went. Wes' parents came out again too, as they liked it so much last year.
