31 weeks

Well, time is FASTLY approaching of when our new son will enter into this world. Yes, Wes and I are ECSTATIC and EXCITED and can hardly contain ourselves, but we also realize that we have SO MUCH TO DO.
Yes, we know that there are 9 weeks give or take some time before Our gift from God arrives, but people that is not alot of time for us. Our days and weeks and weekends go so fast now, that those 9 weeks will be up before we know it.

We are not in official FREAK out mode yet, but it is coming. Our church threw me a wonderful baby shower and my goodness, we are so blessed with the love people have for us and we by far were showered with so many gift. Unbelievable, but in the same since, wow, it made us stop and look at what we did get and realize, yes all these things are great and wonderful and we NEED them, but there are other things that we need, not just want but they are pretty much a MUST. SO that sent us, well, just picture your jaw dropped open and then grasping for air and your head spinning. Yep that was us this morning when we realized, we still do not even have a mattress for our little guy. Or a stroller. HAHA, oh when I say stroller I also mean infant carseat carrier, which you all know, you can't leave the hospital without it installed in your car. (can you hear me freaking out)

Now we are going through our registry and looking at what we need, what is a must, and what is just a desire or was fun to register for. Also, doing alot of talking to new moms and parents asking, "DO we have to have "this" before his is born? Or can it wait until after?" So alot of trying to figure things out.

We know that it will all come together and this is part of being new parents and Landon will come and things will go alright, but it is just thinking that wow, the time is getting so close. We praise God for this wonderful gift he has given to us and we can not wait to meet him. God has blessed us and we do praise him for all he has given us. We know we can rest in our savior and take courage and have peace knowing, He works all things out. God will provide and take care of us.
So pray for Wes and I as we continue to realize our time is quickly passing, that we would REST in our Savior and continue to be excited about Landon coming and we would be able to find the time to get the things we see as a must. Well and another thing is, the 3 things that we see as a must are an hours drive away. So you know that helps on the time. ;0)
We need our stroller/carseat carrier, a mattress for the crib and a dresser.
All the decorating and stuff like that, I am not worried about, it will get done or it won't.
Just to tell you again we are not in official, insane freak out mode, and please just pray with us that we continue to enjoy this time together with the 2 of us and realize that this is it. Once Landon comes will it never be the 2 of us EVER. LOL, just kidding. (I am saying that all in good fun.)

I will try and post some pictures soon of the shower that was thrown for me and also a picture of my ever growing belly!!! For some reason, my clothes keep shrinking and my shirts are getting shorter. Maybe we need to have our drier looked at. mmm.
