Magic Kindom

Sunday, we went to...

We had to leave the hotel and go to the airport to pick up our car rental and then we were off to Magic Kingdom. This is the entrance to the park. SO cool, There were not a lot of people there yet, which was nice, we parked and hopped on a little trolley that took us to the ticket counter. We had a choice to go to the actual park on a ferry boat or on a fast train thing that takes you through a hotel. since it was a little chilly we opted for the train and got to the park in no time. Off we went. This time we had a plane. We knew what rides Wes wanted to ride, that I could not ride and headed that way. When you get inside and are walking down the main street this is what you see,

and there are just people everywhere and kids. It is crazy. Very cool sight thought. I liked it and we stopped and asked a lady if she would take our picture, so this is the Chadek's at Magic Kingdom in front of Cinderella's castle.

Then off we went to Tomorrowland to hit space mountain and the indy cars and whatever other rides we wanted in that area. WE got a fast pass to Space mountain to come back in about 40 mins, so we headed to Buzz lightyears ride, which was fun then we hit Stitch's adventure. That was different and weird, kinda gross, but kids i am sure love it. It was not to bad for adults either. ;) back to Space Mountain and it was SHUT down!!! Can you believe it. They said to maybe try back later. So we went and ate and saw that our time was ticking so we ate, which was much needed and then space mountain was open again. So I was able to go almost the whole way with Wes before we had to separate.

On a side note, I have to tell this story about my mom. I knew even before I checked the website that I could not ride SpaceMountain. I guess when my mother was pregnant with me,my dad and mom and sister Tina, went to Magic Kingdom. My mom Must of been showing big time and said she was going to ride the ride and the guy running it told her now way. My mother insisted on riding the ride and got irate. MM, mothers. :) I don't think my mom ended up riding that ride, which is good. Just thought it was funny, that my mom insisted on riding the ride. Wes did say it was a very jerky ride and bounces you back and forth really bad. (at least this is how I remember my mom telling the story)

Anyways, after tomorrow land we headed to Fantasy land, thought we would hit small world, and the peter pan ride. WE got out of fantasy land FAST. There were people EVERYWHERE and kids running everywhere and strollers EVERYWHERE. The lines and fast passes were to long at that time to go to those 2 rides so we thought, we will hit the Haunted Mansion. IT WAS CLOSED and stayed closed for how long. We went back I think like 4 times to see if it was open and nope never was. They had workers standing out front saying blah blah, blah and please check back at a later time. Whatever.

Wes then rode thunder mountain and thought it was cool.

WE got to ride the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and that was cool. Different then we thought, but it was cool. Jack Sparrow looks so real in the ride. It was cool We hit some other rides and walked all over the place. Walked some more and did some other rides, not sure what else. WE were getting tired so we decided to eat some icecream and then head to our hotel, because then we were going to Downtown Disney for dinner and the evening. We did do some shopping, and got a few things. Here is us as we are leaving the park out in front.
