this year we were planning on getting a real tree and then the weekend we were suppose to get a tree was to busy and we ran out of room. We decided to just go with a fake tree for this year.
We went to a bunch of differnt stores to check out their trees and just did not find what we wanted. We finally went to Menards and looked and looked and looked. Finally we did not CARe and just said get a TREE. so we found one we could agree upon and that was in stock. We brought it home.
Here is our Christmas Tree!!!!
We did bring home a normal Christmas tree, but then saw this one as we were leaving, but did not get it.
We had just bought some new furniture and the tree we bought was rather large and we did not like it as much as the palm tree. So I went back the next night and got our Christmas tree.
It is so fun seeing people's reactions to this. It is perfect for us. Fits in our living room great, and we love warm, so a palm tree is great. all my ornaments fit on there great.

As for our Christmas Tree? It is normal...like most people in America! :) Most of the ornaments are on the bottom half due to help from our kids! :)

Hey, you know what dad & I love about this tree, you can leave it up year round, just take the decorations off. How fun is that....No more hunting or hastles fitting one in wiht your furniture YEA!!!!
As for our tree, I love it!!! When a local K-Mart was going out of busihness a couple years ago, we got this beautiful 8' tree with 1000 light already on it and it can turn around if you have a big enough room .... get this $279.00 Tree for $37 that was a GIFT from the Lord and we really enjoy it, and it is beautiful decorated with purple/white/silver. Since all of our ornaments basically went to our children as they were establishing their homes after marriage. I'm usually a Christmas Humbug person... when it comes to all the gift giving, etc. But I enjoy sitting with your dad and enjoying the tree lights at night and the quiet calm that reminds us of the "CALM" Jesus brings into our lives. WE LOVE YOU KIDS sooooo much! sorry, didn't mean to write a book, hope this doesn't mean i need my own blog hahahahaha
