Dirty Pants

I got ready for work this morning and wore Khaki pants. Casual Friday. Got in the truck to go to a chiro appt I had and then stopped off at my in-laws house to pick up my car. Stopped off at Panera to pick up some yummy bagels. (woke up this morning and thought, Today is a bagel day).
Got to work and ate the bagel and talking to co-workers and one of them says," You have something on your pants." I turn around and look and am like Where?. I look and there is like black grease or charcoal like stuff on the right back thigh area of my khaki pants. WHAT IN THE WORLD!!!!! So, Erin, one of my co-workers, grabs her Tide pen and tries to get it out, or rub it off. Kind of awkward as she is using a pen on my back thigh. We were laughing. Good thing we like each other.
The tide pen just seemed to smear it. There is one big line and then some dots around it. We decided that they pen is not going to work, so maybe going up into the bathroom and putting soapy warm water on it would help take it out.
May I remind you I am at work. How weird feeling is it to take your pants COMPLETELY off in your work office bathroom? I mean come on. Erin offered to help me, She would use the water and soap with the pants on my legs, but again, just awkward and incredibly laughable. ;o) Don't know if we should of laughed as hard as we did at 9am in the morning. So I remembered seeing some bright melon colored pants under someones desk in our office and went to ask them if I could borrow the pants long enough to see if I could get the "stuff" off my pants. So into the bathroom I go, switch pants and try to use water/soap to get the "stuff off my pants. It did not work, so now I have pants that have black stuff on them and wet on them. MMMM, don't think I should wear them. The girl I borrowed the pants from, was gracious enough to let me where the pants the rest of the day.
These pants are VERY bright!! It is funny!!! I have not walked by one person at all today that has not said,:Wow, those are bright pants!", or " No one will miss you coming."
It has been comical! I have gotten a good laugh today.
I am just glad that someone had an extra pair of pants here at the office that fit me and then I could barrow them. I wish I had my camera to show you a picture, but you will just have to believe me when I say these pants are bright.
My co-workers in the basement and I have been getting good laughs out of my pants. It sure has made for a fun Friday and lots of laughing.
