Can you say YARD SALE? Oh my, well today was the Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church annual yard sale. This sale is HUGe. It fills the church gym with all kinds of stuff. And then also outside there is furniture, bikes and stuff like that. On the inside, there is a room for just purses and shoes(always my first stop). Then the rest of the gym has clothes for all ages and sizes, holiday stuff, house stuff, tupperware, jewerly, curtains, glasses, pots and pans and well anything that you want. Books and toys and cd's.
Since I work right across the street, we are able to go to the yard sale when it opens. First we( some of my co-workers) start outside and look at the furniture and outside stuff. This year there was not much, well there was, but I was not looking for anything.(on a side note, my co-worker Holly and I, go to yard sales through out the summer and normally do pretty good, but this year we have hit some real DUDs!! old flea market stuff, people who have passed on, and we have not gotten anything at any of the yard sales, so we were really hoping this yard sale would be different). Once we were done outside we went inside. The gym is packed and full of people and it is WICKED HOT. So first off we hit the shoe and purse room. I found a pair of shoes and of course I found another straw bag. Last year I found this very awesome straw beach bag and I still have it. So I found another one, differnt from last years, but still another bag, I think I have this thing for bags, not purses, but bags and totes. ;0) I did find some more purses(I got a few becuase my sister ALWAYS steals my purses, or she would say "trade" purses) then into the big room. I must say I was kinda disappointed this year, I did not find a lot of stuff. I did get some clothes for myself and sisters, and then some mason jars for Wes to drink out or( he likes to drink out of mason jars, that is why I got them, it is not that I make him drink out of them) ;)
I did find a cd, and that was it. I did come out with some good stuff, but nothing like the last 2 years. I am happy with what I got, and I hope my sis, Tina is happy too. I spent a total of $19.50. For what I spend and what I bought, I did very well!!!! It was a good time and I always love good bargins, what can I say, my mama taught me right. Now i get to go home and wash the clothes and coat. Should be fun. So if you enjoy yard sales, hope you find some good ones.

That's my girl... always looking for a bargain. I have to tell you Jodi, it was so funny the other night standing in Target in Phx and talking to Stacey & Susie Day... Susie was telling me what a great shopper Stacey is and how she only gets really goooooood deals. I love it.!!!! Glad you had fun.. Also, about this purse thing? Tina had another "new" one the other day when I was up there? I of course asked where she got it... and guess what? you're right she took it from you. Go figure! What's she going to do when you are 1/2 way around the world... I love it!!!!
Hey! Are the purses cute? Will I like them? Really, I just want to trade for awhile!! :)
