the Weekend

Saturday was very relaxing. I was able to get away and go to a local lake with a friend, Holly. We left around noon and came home around 4:30pm. It was a GREAT time.
We layed in the sun and got in the water and then back out on the blankets and then back in the water!! It was a great time. I LOVE THE SUN, THE WATER AND THE HOT.
It was very hot on Saturday. We were laying on our blankets getting sun and I don't think we layed there longer then 20 mins at a time, becuase we would just be sweating and dripping with water. So we would go into the lake and stand there for a while. We did get on some rafts that holly had. Haha, she fell off of her right away, so that got us laughing pretty hard. I went to get on mine and well, it just kinda sunk. So I got all wet also. It was a great time. There were boats and watercrafts out on the lake, so we got the waves, that would move us and the sound. AHHHH, I love the sound of boats and watercrafts and the WATER. Can you tell I love the lake, or a beach or anything with water. Nope not anything, I will not do a pond. I have not yet at least, I think I draw the line there. Ponds are just plan SCARY!!!! I do love water and being outside and on the beach and just enjoying the warmth of the day. which let me tell you it has been HOT here. But I still enjoy it. It was a great time of rest and hanging out with my good friend Hols. Sometimes you just need an nothing day and it was great.

We went out with some friends, that we have not gone out with in a long time. We headed up to Lansing and tried the Texas Roadhouse resturant. It was good. THey have a really good bloomin onion and just good food. Of couse we all ate and ate.
Afterwards we had to walk off all the food we had, so we went to the mall. Beth is prego, so she is looking for more clothes to fit into. That was fun. ;0) We then headed back to the Faber's house and watched BAby Faber's first pictures. It was really awesome. So cool to see how he moves and his little heart beating. It is a miracle. God is amazing in designing and creating life.

Over all it was a great weekend. I did not do much work in the yard or house, but is was enjoyable none the less. Nice R & R weekend.
