Fun Friday

I thought I would tell you about the rest of the time with the Thomas kids. Friday morning, they slept in until 7am. Which I guess is pretty good for them. The morning was slow starting which was nice. We had decided to make surprises for Uncle Wes and the parents for when they all got home, so we had to go to the store to get the "stuff".
There much play do playing and designs and coloring pages with markers and other fun things, then it was time to go to Sam's club to get the Chocolate chips and hot dog buns for dinner. I am sure you are thinking, why would I go to Sam's the BIG store, why not to a local grocery store. ARE YOU NUTS!!! With 4 kids? Right!! HAHAHA, just kidding, I did think that Sam's would just be so much easier and not as many people to worry about. So SAm's was a fun trip, got a huge bag of chocolate chips and way to many hotdog buns(which by the way it was under $2.00 for 16 buns at Sam's and at the grocery store it would of been $2.89 for 8, much better buy). Of course we had to get a soda at SAm's and the 3 kids shared. Not me! :)
Once we got home, it was lunch time, well for the kids, I was only able to eat half of my sandwich(which most of you know how much I love to eat and sandwiches of all things) Kolby is potty training right, and he does great with going pee, the other part not good at all. Let's just say we went through 4 pairs of underwear before Aunt Jodi decided to put a pull up on. Man oh man, I am not use to that. Kolby is a great kid and I love him, but that was a little much for me. We got through it alright.
Nap time came and this time I seperated Kolby and Sarah and they both fell asleep. The 2 older kids sat for a few minutes while I called my mom to talk and relax. then it was time to put the picnic table together. WE got most of it done, but the boys got tired so then the fun time began.
It was cooking making time. We got most of it done and Kolby got up and of course there was lots of taste testing the chocolate chips, It was such a big bag and we don't want them to go bad or to taste bad. :0) So making cookies was great. The boys did very well!
When Sarah got up we decided to go outside and play in the pool again and get more water balloons. Water fight time. I think we spent the rest of the afternoon outside playing and having fun!!
Uncle Wes got home and there was more playing, then dinner time, eating outside and more playing. Andrew and Wes played frisbee together and did very good. It was a great day out side, which was an answer to prayer.
The kids were starting to get tired and then thier parents came home. :0)
I had a great time with the kids and would not change the time for anything. Other then some major scraps and stubbed toes and banged heads(I think all on our Futon wood couch) It was so much fun.

Saturday, we went and saw the new movie, "Cars". Great clean movie if you have not seen it. The kids sat through it pretty good for the most part. Then it was more fun time with the family. Just hanging out and gettting the van packed and them ready to go for sunday morning EARLY.

I loved my time with them all. I really treasure this time, since I don't get it very often at all and who knows when I will again. thank you ANdrew, Kaleb, Kolby and Miss Sarah for a fun time.

Oh the cats, the kids loved our cats, and the cats were just not to sure of the 4 kids, but they did warm up to them after a little while.
Our house is quite now and our cats are back to begging for attention.
That was the fun time with the Thomas. Enjoyed it a lot.
Later!! :0)

You were such a fun aunt!
They all had the best time and I wasn't worried about them at all.
THANK YOU!!!

Not sharing a drink with them at Sam's...I don't either, and I am their mom! :)

Kolby and the whole potty training thing...oh that makes me laugh...someday it will be your turn and you will have to deal with it for more than a day! :)
