DA DA

Yep you read that right. DA DA!! Little man said his first word yesterday. He has been saying Da Da a while, but we don't think he knew what he was saying. Well, on Friday, I was feeding little man and he was in his high chair; Wes walks in from work and Little Man gets this HUGE grin on his face.He follows Wes as he walks across the room and says, "DA DA" and just looks at Wes and keeps smiling.

IT WAS PRICELESS.

Little Man says his first word and it was for his daddy. Wes is pretty happy about that. I have to admit, even though mommy was not his first word, I think I got the most joy out of seeing Little Man's face and him saying his first word to his daddy. All the feelings that go through you when you love and have so much joy for this little person, I never thought were possible.

Little man keeps growing on us. Crazy how the time continues to go so fast. I like to stay busy during the day and try to accomplish as much as I can. I have to stop and make sure I take time to spend with Little Man. I don't want to miss the special moments with him, or even just time with him, to spend time with him and watch him grow as he changes every day. I don't want to look back when he is older and say, "I wish, I hadn't worried about cleaning my house so much or getting things done, I missed so much with him". I have realized that stopping and spending time with him is so important. It really puts life in perspective for me. Slowing down in life, make me enjoy it so much more. I notice more and seems like I even have more time for other things.

I enjoy my time with Little man and am very happy and proud to be his mommy!!
