6 years ago I married the man I love, my best friend!
It was a sunny day, but it was cold and we had snow in the morning.
I remember being so very excited, but also incredibly nervous also. The day started with me getting my nails done and then heading to the church to get ready. My mom and dad were with me this morning. It was very special for them to be with me on my last day as a single gal. :o) Finally got to the church and got ready for the moment. We had our pictures taken before the ceremony, so before that was done, Wes stood at the front of the church and I walked out to see him in my dress. It was a very special moment. Walking down that isle and looking at the man I was about to marry. So many emotions, but also so much love as I knew I would spend the rest of my life with him. HUGE nerves in my belly and of course I was crying. (What all girls do when emotions get to high and have feelings that can't be explained.) When I reached the front Wes and I took a few minutes to be just alone. It was the best moment ever. We took a few minutes and prayed together. All the nerves went out the window, total peace and calmness and got ready to get married and change our lives forever.
I just can't believe that this ceremony of unity happened 6 years ago. The last 6 years have flown by. It has been fun, trying, hard, a blast, teaching moments and always full of adventure and excitement.
