Firsts...

Alot has happened in the past week. Landon expereinced a bunch of first. Well I guess you could say I did also. They were fun, so here is what happened.

My parents moved to Ohio last month and are about 4 hours southeast of us, 5 hours with stopping to feed the little man. So last Tuesday, Little man and I loaded up the car(with all the baby gear, takes a lot for a little person). We traveled on one of the hottest days with no A/C. Little man slept the whole way, except when we stopped so I could feed him. We arrived to Nanny and Papa's and the nice A/C house. We had gone down there to help them settle into their new home. They had only 3 days to completely unpack and get ready to start their new job. It was fun. My parents enjoyed having Little man around and watching him. He was good. Feel asleep through a huge thunder and lightning storm.

We headed home on Thursday, a much cooler day. Praise the Lord, we had prayed for that. Again, Little man slept almost the whole way. Woke him up to feed him in Maumee, Oh. After he got done eating I thought I would change him. Well, I was in my car feeding him, so I used the front seat to change him, thought I did not need to put a mat under him. Well, no sooner did I get him cleaned up and almost had the other diaper on him and a river of orange poop came flowing out and started going on my hand and down the seat. I tried grabbing wet wipes and did the best I could, but my car has been pooped on. ;o) Got Little man on cleaned up and put him back in his car seat and he starts spitting up every wear. ( I guess to much excitement for him) So took care of that and then had to go back to clean up the lovely passing seat. did the best I could considering I only had a little drinking water left and wet wipes and a burp cloth. all those things come in very handy. how did I ever live without them? Then on our way again. This was his face after the fun "river" incident.

On Saturday, we were at Wes' parents house and we were getting ready to leave to go to the store and Grandma offered to keep him, so we could go to the store. WOW. It was awesome. First time Wes and I have been out alone in 4 weeks. It was great. It was very nice of Grandma to watch Landon for us. She said he was very good. (So I think she will watch him again) ;o)

We tried the little man on a bottle this past week also. Has not had any problems with taking it. Which is great.
We also had some friends, Aunt Stacy and Uncle Josh came up to see Little man this past week. They liked watching him and feeding him. It was great to see them. Love you Stac and Josh

those are some first for our little man. I thought life would slow down a little bit for us once we had him, but maybe we are just not sit at home people. Little man is growing lots and has his eyes open more and more every day. Wes and I really enjoy him. It is crazy he is 1 month old already.

We don't have anymore trips planned as of right now, but hey you never know what could come up.
