The CRIB

Since Landon is so close to coming(did you see like 6 weeks?) Wes and I decided to put his crib together last night. We bought the crib way back in April and it has just been sitting in the box and in his room waiting to be put together.
So finally last night, we had time and we were both up for it. We opened the box and made sure all the pieced were there and we had all the screws we needed. We were all set to begin.
I started taking pictures so I could post our progress and show you how exciting it is, Landon's bed is going up!! Yea. We were both very excited.
Away we went, excited and still taking pictures and being silly and then we get to the last piece, where we have to put the final real onto the whole crib. For some reason it did not want to latch. It is a drop side and the latches did not want to go into the holes. So we thought, oh we have it on the wrong way, lets flip the rail around. NOPE! It still did not work. THERE IS A FLAW IN THE BRACKETS. Can you believe that. Here we sit, totally frustrated and pissed off and now we have a half finished crib sitting in our to be baby's room. Unbelievable. There is about a 1/8 inch gap or something like that where the latch will not go into the hole.
I hope on like, totally frustrated and find out there is no # to call customer service, you must send an email and you will receive a response back in about 72 hours.

Here I thought I would have this cool post to share with you all and show you these awesome pictures of the crib we got for our Landon, but NO the people who made the brackets had to go and screw it all up.
As of right now, still no response to me email, which has me PLEADING for an ASAP response and them sending us new brackets ASAP. Because this is Landon's bed and what if he comes early!! AHHHHHHHHHHh. Just kidding, I am not totally freaking out, but I did plead for them to respond ASAP and send us new stuff.
Isn't that the way things go though. When you need something, and have to put it together, something always goes wrong.
Hopefully it will work it's self out and we will get Landon's crib put together soon. I do have pictures and will post them once the bed is complete. Well, who knows how long that will be. Eventually you will get to see us putting the crib together.
