HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL

Today is my friend Rachel's birthday.!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL!!!

Rachel and I became friends around oh, 7 years ago. She is the wonderful wife to my husbands best friend. Rachel and her husband and my hubby all went to high school together and have known each other for awhile. When Wes and I decided to get married, Rachel and I just kinda figured we needed to be able to like each other or get along and be friends, considering out husbands were best friends. Might as well make the most of it. :)

Well, that was almost 7 years ago and we became fast friends. I would consider Rachel to be my best friend. Wes and I go over to their house once a week and hang out with them and their family. Rachel and I talk about everything. We have gotten a lot of talks in over the years. It is funny, there are some Thursday nights that we don't get to talk enough. So we make the guys leave so we get to talk to each other. :) I value her opinion; she is a godly wife and a great mother, someone I look at and see God working in her heart and she is willing to share it. She is open and speaks the truth in love and cares for people. Very hospitable and giving!!

Rachel, I love you. I am so glad that we are GREAT friends. I enjoy our talks, our walks and everything about our friendship. I am very thankful to God for blessing me with the wonderful friendship that we have. I need you!! Thank you for always listening to me and putting up with me. I hope you have a great birthday!!!

This is RAchel with her family last 4th of July.

Thanks Jodi. You made me tear up. I too am thankful for our friendship that has grown so much over the years. I look forward to the many more seasons that we will go through together. I am especially anticipating relating with you as a mother.
