Ice Cream!! In Michigan, Most of our ice cream shops close from November to Feb, due to being walk up places and it is cold here.
I LOVE ICE CREAM!!! Just love it. My favorite is Dairy Queen Ice Cream. So I knew that one of the DQ's in our area had opened a couple of weeks ago and have been thinking about getting ice cream, but just have not.
So last night, my hubby and I were looking for something to do, so I came up with the idea of getting ice cream at DQ. Mind you, it is like 4 degrees outside, which is FREEZING. So we took the 10 min drive to our local DQ and I got my usual of a small choc. ice cream cone.
YUM YUM!!!!
Man, I have not tasted such good ice cream in a LONG time. It was good. I was eating it and kept saying, "mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm." Wes was laughing at me. Totally worth going out in the cold and standing in the cold to order our ice cream. Best ice cream I have had all year.
I want to be careful as to not each to much ice cream and gain weight to fast with this pregnancy, so i wasn't sure if I should start this early eating my favorite ice cream, because in the summer time, DQ is a frequent, very frequent stop. We will see how it goes. All I know, is that choc. ice cream cone I had last night was AWESOME. I can not tell you have refreshing and tasteful it was to my taste buds and belly. ;0)
So if you have not had ice cream in a long time, from some place besides the store, go to a shop and get you some. You can even enjoy what I usually get small choc ice cream cone. Cheap and oh so very good.

Ice cream sounds very yummy today! Maybe I should just go and treat myself tonight since I really didn't have any dessert yet for my b-day!!

I will go with you to DQ next week...but could you please get the temperature closer to the 70's? 4 degrees?? I think I will freeze solid if it is that cold when I come!
LOOK AT THE POSITIVE SIDE, WHEN IT IS 4 DEGREES OUTSIDE YOUR ISCE CREAM DOESN'T MELT AND RUN DOWN YOUR ARM TO YOUR ELBOWS.. IT IS HARD TO LICK ICE CREAM OFF YOUR ELBOWS

HAHAHAH! And so it begins! I know our little ice cream shop by us when I was pregnant with Arika loved us! To bad they weren't open al year they would have made out well!

Well, I did it! I went to Cold Stone last night and celebrated my birthday with ice cream! I couldn't stop thinking about it after I read your blog yesterday.
Don't post too many food things on here because then I'll start craving them and my weight can't handle it :)
This makes me think if Homer Simpson saying "Hmmm....ice-cream!!"
