Happy Halloween!!

Thought I would just tell you HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
It is not a huge holiday and it really does not mean anything unless you are a kid
or have kids anymore. It is all about getting dressed up and getting CANDY!!! ;0)

So if you are going out tonight, be safe and enjoy the time with your family!!

Do you remember when you were a kid how after you went trick or treating, back in my day, it was pretty safe to go trick or treating in your neighborhood.
Once you got home, you would dump out your pillowcase or your bucket and sort out all the candy. The GOOD stuff, the ehhh stuff, the homemade stuff that mom always makes you throw out. Then the fun really began. you consume as much candy as possible before getting in trouble and start the TRADING with your siblings!!!
Oh yea!! the trading. Seeing what the others would give up and what you could get rid of!! Those were fun childhood times.
I think my dad almost always took us girls out, at least I remember a couple of times he did, cuz mom would stay and hand out the candy to people coming to our house. that was always fun, having dad there when we were little.

When my sisters and I got to old to go out and trick or treat, we would make it a family night still. We would rent movies and order in pizza and all 5 of us would sit and watch a movie, or at least temp to watch a movie. We would pause it everytime the doorbell rang. It took forever to get through a movie, but it was fun still.

Growing up as a kid, Halloween was always fun and full of memories and lots of SUGAR!!!! What are some fond Halloween memories you have or favorit costumes you wore?
