WOW, I just received a phone call from a very special man in my life. MY DAD!!!! I told you a while back that he lost his voice which was back in the end of June Beginning of July. Well it has been a long 3 months. I have only talked to my dad 2 times on the phone since that time. (luckily, he and I both have MSN messenger to talk on). When we do talk, I have had to make sure that there is noise going on in my house or around me, so that I can hear him, be cause it is just above a whisper and very hard to hear. I love my dad and enjoy talking to him, so have really missed that and him. I recently talked to him last Thursday. he was calling to ask me about possibly having the tempory surgery done on his voice and wanted to see what I thought. I LOVE MY DAD and of course did not give him the answer he wanted to hear, just like he doesn't give us the answer we want to hear when we call him or use to call him before we were married. You trained me well dad. don't give the answer, just ask questions to get us thinking about what to do. But never a yes or no answer. ;0)
He went in for temporary surgery this past Wednesday hoping that it would give his voice back, whether perminent or for a short time. So he was put under which is scary, and they did some stuff to his vocal cord and he came out of the surgery fine and could not talk until today at all and then even after today he could only talk softly.
I was talking to my dad earlier today over MSN messenger and he was so ready to try out his voice, but my mom would not let him, not until noon thier time. I just received a phone call from my dad at work. VERY EXCITING and I could hear him no problem. LOUD and CLEAR!!

DAD, I love you and am very glad you have your voice back. It has be so very awesome to see you grow in your walk with the Lord through this trial God has brought you through. you are a good example of faith and trust in the Lord. Thank you for resting in him through this time and being willing to share your ups and downs in it.

OH, so sweet, thank you. It was so very special for his first words to me.... This is mom & we do love and appreciate all of you girls. It was so exciting to hear his first words after non for 3 months..... they were "I love you"
