So this is Allie and Alex. Allie is the dark tiger cat and Alex is well the other cat, the white one. We got Allie has a try about a year and a half ago and she was already a year old. Alex, we got last June, from some friends.
Allie, was a lonly cat and very whiny and wanted a lot of attention. So we thought, we will get her a play mate and that will calm her down a little. NOPE, that did not work, but now they do play with each other alot. They are funny cats. They make us laugh alot!!
So you know, Wes and I NEVER thought we would be CAT people, and we still are not. you would have to meet out cats to understand. WE enjoy having them around, but they do not run the house. My family laughs at us, (which by the way no one in my family likes cats, but they like Allie and Alex) becuase we talk to our cats like they they are human. you might not think that you can train cats and they have a mind of thier own, which they do, but they will still listen to you and do what you say. You just have to be smarter then them. HAHAHA!!
Allie and Alex like to sleep during the day, when we are not home and then when we are home in the evening, they run back and forth through the whole house, they chase each other all the way downstairs and then back up to the main floor into the living room and then switch spots and keep on going. When they get bored with that, they will lay down, at least one of them does to rest, and the other one will go and irritate the other one, using thier paw to keep touching the other, until finally it goes on long enough and they just attack each other,(niether one of them have front claws) and roll all over the flow and grawl and meow at each other!! It gets pretty funny sometimes, maybe you have to see it. Then they like to make a lto of noise and run back and forth through the house again, once we go to bed. It makes a lot of noise, in our old squeeky floor house.
These are our 2 cats, we love them!! I will have to tell another story another time. When my nephews come they love to chase the cats around. Allie, does not like kids, only adults, and Alex, loves kids, but is afraid of adults. So Alex loves to play with the 3 boys when they come and chase him and give him toys to play with. The cats are waiting for you Andrew, Kaleb and Kolby. I keep telling them you will be coming this summer!! :)

I didn't know you had two cats. I thought you only had one. They are very pretty though! I don't think any differently of you because you have cats. They sound like lots of fun!!

I must admit... you said it right that your family doesn't even like cats... but all of us like you cats.
They have so much personality!!!
I think the owners make all the difference.
