Jabber Time
Good morning. So I am still trying to figure out this whole blog thing. We will see how I do.
Well, I can not believe it, We have snow today. It is the first day of spring and it is snowing!! How insane is that? :) I guess it is alright. I cannot wait until the warm weather gets here. I LOVE WARM WEATHER!!!! :)
Last night Wes and I went to this student ministries seminar, put on my Cadrae. It was a very good night. We learned how to deal with youth, how not to let the new youth in your group get lost amongst everyone else. Also, (which this was huge for me) to keep your relationship with God new. You can not effectivly minister and share Christ's love with others, unless you have a relationship with Christ and are experinceing his love. It was a good reminder to me. They made the group answer these really hard questions like, where is your relationship with God right now on a scale of 1-10, and then after you answer it for yourself, you had to get up and tell someone in the room, that you did not even know. That was so hard, becuase I like to come across that life is great and my walk with God is great, but I had to be truthful and it was really rough. It is important to make sure my walk with God is good. It was a helpful seminar. Just to see other youth teams and see how they function. It was great. It was a big encouagement to me and I think Wes also

I'm so glad you're in the blog world now!! It will be fun to check in with you and see how life is going. I mentioned you last week in my Thursday Thirteen. It was the whole teeter totter thing : )
I know what you mean about being honest about life. It's hard to let people in and be honest with them sometimes. I struggle with wanting to seem on top of everything, too!
